Rapid, improved transfection with higher protein yield

The magnefect –nano II from 42Bio uses improved gene transfection technology which applies oscillating magnet arrays and magnetic nanoparticles to promote particle/DNA uptake into cells.

  • The systems are proven to provide:
  • Excellent cell viability (~100% in some cells)
  • Improved transfection efficiency and effectiveness
  • Low running costs (as low as $0.1 per well)
  • Rapid (<30 minutes), scalable transfection
  • ​Ability to re-transfect neurons and other cells

  • Three multi-well magnet array configurations  (6-, 24- AND 96-well plate)

  • Full control over software parameters (oscillation frequency, displacement, cycles, time)

               ~25% co-transfected C2C12 cells with ~80% cell viability
